Failed - Valid is a delivery-partner performance classification LMS uses for parcel delivery failures that fall outside the delivery partner's control — such as a bad or undeliverable address, a package not available at loadout or not loaded on the truck, a customer-refused or damaged package, a missing apartment/unit number, or a business that is permanently closed. Because the delivery could not have been completed regardless of effort, valid failures are excluded from the partner's on-time and completion scoring so the performance tier reflects only controllable outcomes. The failure is still recorded and included in total packages on routes; it is simply removed from the scoring denominator.
