Privacy Policy
Last updated September 10, 2026
This policy explains what information Last Mile Solutions collects when you visit lastmile.us, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have written it in plain language and kept it specific to what this website actually does.
In one minute.
This summary is for orientation only — the sections below are the actual policy.
We keep what you send us
If you fill in a form, we store what you typed so we can reply and quote your business.
We measure traffic
We record page views, where you arrived from, and your browser type. We never store your IP address itself.
We advertise
Google and LinkedIn tags on this site help us measure and target our ads. You can opt out below.
We don't sell your data
We do not sell personal information, and we have not done so in the past twelve months.
Who we are
Last Mile Solutions(“LMS”, “we”, “us”) is a last-mile parcel delivery carrier based in California. We are the party responsible for the information described in this policy.

What this policy covers
This policy covers the public website at lastmile.us and the tools on it — the coverage checker, the rate estimator, the surcharge calculator, the carrier audit, and our contact and quote forms.
It does not cover the LMS portals at ellie.lastmile.us, which customers, delivery partners and vendors reach by signing in with an invitation, and which are governed by the agreement between LMS and your company. It also does not cover information we handle as a carrier in order to deliver a package — if you are a recipient of a delivery, the shipper who sent your parcel decides how your delivery information is used, and we handle it on their behalf under our contract with them.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit one of our forms we collect what you enter. That is typically your name, work email address, phone number, company, and details about your shipping — volumes, service needs, locations, and anything you write in a message field. Some tools ask for less: the coverage checker asks only for an email address so we can tell you when we reach your area.
Our free carrier audit accepts a carrier invoice as a PDF or image, or line items you paste in. We use it to produce your audit and we do not keep the file itself — see Automated analysis and AI.
Our longer forms save your answers step by step, so if you enter your email address and then leave without finishing, we may still hold what you had entered up to that point. Ask us and we will delete it.
Information we collect automatically
When you browse the site we record the pages you view, the time of the visit, the site or ad you arrived from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and your browser and device type.
We do not store your IP address. Our servers necessarily see it, as every web server does, but we replace it with a one-way scrambled value computed with a secret key before anything is written down, and we keep only part of that value. We use it to tell visits apart and to spot automated traffic — never to look up who you are.
Information from analytics and advertising partners
This site loads Google Analytics and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Those services set their own cookies and receive information about your visit directly, under their own privacy policies.
How we use information
- To answer your enquiry, quote your business, and set up service.
- To produce the report or estimate a tool promised you.
- To understand which pages, channels and campaigns bring shippers to us, so we spend our marketing budget sensibly.
- To improve the website and the accuracy of our coverage and pricing tools.
- To keep the site secure and to filter out bots and abuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use the information on this website to make decisions about you that have a legal effect without a person involved.
Automated analysis and AI
Two things on this site are analyzed by an AI service. We use Anthropic’s Claude API as a service provider, under a commercial agreement, to do it.
- Carrier audits. The invoice you upload, or the line items you paste, are sent for analysis so we can identify surcharges and produce your report. We store the findings and your email address. We do not store the uploaded file.
- Enquiry triage. The details you submit through a form, including your email address, are summarized so we can route your enquiry to the right person and prepare for the conversation.
- Business research. We look up publicly available information about the company in a business email address — what it does, roughly how big it is, whether it ships parcels — using a web search service, and attach a short summary to your enquiry. We research the company, not you personally.
If you would rather not have your invoice analyzed this way, email us at shipwithus@lastmile.us and we will review it by hand instead.
Your advertising and analytics choices
- Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting your activity across the sites you visit.
- LinkedIn lets you turn off its advertising and data collection in your LinkedIn account settings.
- Clearing or blocking cookies in your browser will stop most of this collection on this device.
- Or simply email shipwithus@lastmile.us and ask us to opt you out. We will action it.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and lead information for as long as we are working with you or might reasonably do business together, and afterwards for as long as we need it for our records, to resolve disputes, and to meet our legal obligations. Website measurement information is kept in a form that identifies a browser rather than a person.
We do not currently delete this information on a fixed schedule. If you ask us to delete it, we will — see below.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you specific rights: to know what we collect and why, to request a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. We do not sell personal information; the sharing that does happen is described in the sharing section and you can opt out of it.
To make any request, email shipwithus@lastmile.us from the address you gave us, or write to us at the postal address above. We may need to ask you something only you would know in order to confirm it is really you. You can name an authorized agent to act for you.
How we protect information
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit. Our systems are hosted with established providers, and access to enquiry and customer information is restricted to LMS staff who need it for their work. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — if you believe your information has been exposed, please tell us immediately at shipwithus@lastmile.us.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be signposted on the site.
